Come Join Us at City Wide Open Studios!

Gender, Projected is pleased to announce that we will be participating in City Wide Open Studios Alternative Space Weekend (Sat Oct 10 & Sun Oct 11, 12-6pm daily) this year! Our work will be featured in the Goffe St. Armory's Locker Room. Curator Sarah Fritchey says the following about the commission: "The Locker Room still has the names of male officers on each Locker, and the collective plans to emphasize the gender codes and oppressive legacy of the US Military, as it is ingrained (and naturalized) in the historic architecture of the Locker Room. For the project, they will place a selection of personal objects, photographs, and writings of 10 models on their site in 10 lockers."
